About Me

Hello, hello! Welcome in! Grab your coffee, your favorite blanket, and let’s chat!

As I mentioned, feel free to call me “Indi” or “Angie”, whichever you prefer, or whichever you may already know me as.

I created Indi Fox Studios as a way to share my love of different crafts with friends, family, and, of course, the new folks like you! I could tell you about myself like we’re sitting in an interview, but we have our coffee and blanket – let’s keep it real.

Born and raised in Pocatello, ID I have done many crafts, learned crafts, and even some I have swapped for others. My craft room is full of the different materials needs for each said craft, i.e crocheting, knitting, hand sewing, sewing machine, diamond dot, cross stitch/embroidery, beading, and most likely will be adding to the list as life goes on. I started with knitting back in middle school to high school and even took part in an elective class to learn knitting some more. For some reason, I dropped knitting shortly after high school (graduated 2011) and took up dance during college for a new hobby. Graduating college in 2016 I went into the food industry and found that I needed something not food related and could cover me in grease to do in my spare time. I really changed up my hobbies to see what might stick and help give me a sense of satisfaction based on completion.

About 2017 to 2018 is when I picked up a crochet hook and took it up like it was second nature – suddenly working with two pointy sticks just didn’t make sense. It was such a learning endeavor to understand crochet, everything that comes with it, the list of things I could suddenly make that I didn’t realize I could, the list goes on and on. I started small-ish making baby hats and booties with the occasional matching baby blanket. All as gifts, of course, because I still didn’t fully grasp what it was/is I could do with this new found love of essentially creating something out of nothing.
