Hello! I am Indi Fox, but you can also call me Angie. I’ve been crafting different crafts for over half my life and have no plans of slowing down! Life likes to throw rocks and close doors, and I found a door cracked open and inviting.
I wanted to push this idea further into what you are currently experiencing with me! Everything you see, like anything in life, has a chance to change and grow and I hope to have you there to see it all happen. This is my own history in the making and I wouldn’t be able to even see this as a possibility without the support of my wonderful husband. He sees my love for crafting and gifting and has been so supportive of me working on this to get to this point now. He, of course, gets his own gifts I will not recreate again, but hey, that’s one way of finding out what you like and don’t like.

I’ve always had bigger dreams at every stage of life and thought I would be able to achieve every single one of them (big dreamer I know). As a young kid I wanted to be a teacher, once in middle school I wanted to play with rocks (I love collecting them still!), high school I wanted to continue with singing until senior year I ended up with laryngitis and suddenly singing was out of the picture. I thought maybe going for massage therapy? However, I noticed that I couldn’t do repetitive movements without dropping whatever was in my hands. Made it through college and changed my mind even more times than I had underwear. I started with the idea of proving I could get a business degree and start my own flower shop, an idea I was married to for over 5 years at the time. Made it to business statistics in 2013 and I absolutely hated it. It was all corporate level schooling and it didn’t fit what I felt I wanted to do. So the next three years I played in literature, Irish history, geology (yay rocks!) and even dance. Graduated 2016 with a Bachelor’s in General Studies and was able to minor in Dance. Again, big dreams and aspirations, but heavy second guessing and a lot of being unsure. So I did food industry throughout college, food industry after college, bought my home in 2016 (absolute big kid move right?), and worked through food industry positions clear from the busboy and dishwasher clear up to Assistant Manager. Yet, I didn’t feel happy. I knitted throughout middle school and high school, because I just couldn’t understand the idea of working with just one hook or stick. I picked up crochet miraculously about 2017 and was really unsure of what I could do and learn. I started with blankets and baby booties, because at the time I was having nieces and nephews being born and I wanted to give them something homemade, hand made, and maybe something that lasts to when they have kids of their own. Crochet became a release for me mentally and a safe space that was all my own. Fast forward to now and there have been so many changes to my craft, new hobbies added to the list I didn’t know I could do, and now a chance to make this more of my life hobby that I get to share with other folks. You really don’t see how many crafters there are until you stumble upon them all because you liked the same craft video they did. So buckle up, hang on, and remember the coffee! We’re off on an adventure!
